Frequently Asked Questions
When should I place my order?
You should place your order as soon as you have your event details, to make sure I am available. I book orders up to 8 months in advance. On occasions, I am available to do last-minute orders. Orders placed less than 7 days in advance, are subject to a rush fee.
Does my quote expire?
Yes. The quote you receive is valid for 14 days. It is your responsibility to book a tasting and send a deposit within that time frame. After that time frame, I reserve the right to increase pricing due to availability, ingredient costs, etc.
What forms of payment do you take?
I accept Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle. I do not accept cash payments for tastings or deposits. This is for both of our record-keeping purposes, along with covid safety.
What happens if you are unable to do my fulfill my order?
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or a situation where i am unable to fulfill the order, I will assist you in finding a reputable baker for your event. Your deposit and any balance will be 100% refunded.
What does the starting price include?
This includes basic buttercream decorations, and any flavor (unless noted as an extra charge). Colored buttercream, fresh flowers, fondant details, and intricate designs will be an additional charge.
How should I store my cake\desserts?
To prevent any damage to your cake or treats, I recommend storing in refrigeration until the start of your event. Decorated cookies should be kept at room temperature, and never in refrigeration.
Do you provide insurance?
I can purchase day-off insurance upon request. This can range between $50-$100 depending on guest count. Check to see if your venue requires it and what needs to be covered.
