Terms & Conditions

Deposits:
A 50% retainer fee is required to guarantee your order date and is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Your date is not booked or guaranteed without a deposit. 
Deposit is due at least 2 weeks in advance, in order to book your order. 
If you need to re-schedule your event, I will try my best to accommodate these changes. 
COVID:
No deposits will be be returned due to Covid closures and cancellations.  The deposit may be transferred to a future date free of charge if the postponement is unforeseen: venue closures, quarantines in place, etc.
If downsizing, you may use your deposit towards another product\ service. 
Liability:
Once the cake\desserts have been delivered or picked up by you or your representative, I am not liable for damage due to negligence or improper handling.
Serving Size:
Standard serving size is 1"x 2"x4". I am not responsible if cake pieces are cut larger and there is a shortage. I recommend going one size larger for birthday cakes. 
Pickup/ Delivery/ Setup: 
Pickup is available in Garden Grove.
Delivery is available for an additional fee.
Setup of desserts is included in the delivery fee. I do not provide table clothes, stands, or trays. It is your responsibility to have those items on hand prior to delivery. If items are not readily available within 15 minutes, I will leave desserts and/ or cake in a safe location at the venue.

Final Payment:
Remaining balance is due 14 days prior to delivery\pickup date. 
Full payment is due for orders made before 14 days. 
A rush fee may be applied to orders with less than 7 days notice.
Order Change:
The date of final payment is the last day to make changes.
Changes to an order are not guarantee if requests are made less than 14 days prior to the event. 
Order cancellations or date changes made after final payment is submitted, are non refundable.
New date availability is not guaranteed, and will require a new additional deposit to book. 
Florals:
I am able to provide and decorate your cake with florals. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not edible, and may contain traces of insects, dirt, or other contaminants. 
All florals are wrapped with floral tape before being inserted into the cake, unless florals are placed on site.  
Cake Structure:
Cakes contain wooden dowels and/ or plastic straws for support. 
I often use non-edible products for support in figurines/ fondant pieces such as wire, toothpicks, etc.  Please remove before consuming.
Designs:
Any products ordered from a picture or photo, of a product produced by any other baker, can only be reproduced as my interpretation of that product and will not be an exact reproduction of the product in the photo. 
Allergies:
Although I will take requests for nut free\ egg free\ dairy free\ gluten free products,  all products are made and stored in a common kitchen with allergens. This includes Gluten and all nuts.  Please use your judgement when ordering.  I do not recommend ordering  if you or a guest have a severe allergy. 

By submitting your deposit, you are agreeing to these terms. 

Frequently Asked Questions

When should i place my order? 

You should place your order as soon as you have your event details, to make sure I am available.

On occasions, I am available to do last-minute orders. Orders placed less than 7 days in advance, are subject to a rush fee. 

Does my quote expire? Yes. The quote you receive is valid for 14 days. It is your responsibility to book a tasting and send a deposit within that time frame. After that time frame, I reserve the right to increase pricing due to availability, ingredient costs, etc. 

What Forms of payment do you take? I accept Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle. I do not accept cash payments for tastings or deposits. This is for both of our record-keeping purposes, along with covid safety. 

What does the starting price inclide? this includes basic buttercream decorations, and any flavor (unless noted as an extra charge). 

What happens if you are unable to do my cake afterall? 

In the event of unforeseen circumstances or a situation where i am unable to fulfill the order, I will assist you in finding a reputable baker for your event. Your deposit and any balance will be 100% refunded. 

How should I store my cake? To prevent any damage to your cake or treats, I recommend storing your cake in refrigeration until the start of your event.
